An educational institution needed its entire technology estate built as one — the data center and secured campus network underneath, and the applications, mobile apps, and communication channels its students and staff rely on every day on top.
The challenge
The institution needed far more than a network refresh: a full data center, campus-wide Wi-Fi, and security underpinning everything, plus the custom applications, mobile apps, and communication channels that day-to-day campus life runs on — all delivered as one coherent programme rather than separate projects that never quite fit together.
It also needed its voice estate, including PRI lines, brought into the same environment, so communication channels worked as part of the network rather than alongside it.
Our approach
We designed and built the data-center foundation and a campus-wide Wi-Fi network, then layered security across it so the estate was protected from the gateway to the endpoint.
On that foundation we developed custom applications and mobile apps for the institution, and stood up its communication channels — including voice and PRI — on the same secured network.
